N96のファームウエアPR1.1が何時の間にかアップデートされていました。

  • Performance and stability have both been improved with the PR1.1* firmware release:
  • Faster system-wide execution speed
  • Overall stability fixes to improve robustness
  • Speaker volume range increased for video and TV playback
  • Autofocus accuracy improved for still imaging
  • Improved media key control if multiple media applications are opened
  • 3D ringtone issue (volume too low) resolved

性能と安定性が向上されたとしています。PCへDLするのが少し面倒だなぁと思っていたら本体から直接できるのですね。これは便利。手順は以下の通りです。　

How to get the update
Option 1: Over the air

1. a) Go to the Device Manager:
Menu > Tools > Utilities > Device Manager



Select Options > Check for updates**.

"Overall stability fixes to improve robustness"に期待です。SU-8Wを使ってWiFi接続をしている時などにちょくちょくフリーズしてますから。
